Introduction to Children and Youth Education

“For I am longing to see you so that I may share with you some spiritual gift to strengthen you—or rather so that we may be mutually encouraged by each other’s faith, both yours and mine.”

AHHH…what an opening statement Paul writes in his letter the Romans!!!

THIS IS Christian Education at All Saints…an opportunity for all of us to come together to share a spiritual gift with each other to strengthen us today and for our future. Our job continues to be to expose our children and youth to Christian values, particularly the forgiveness of Jesus Christ, as we move through our every day lives.

We are pleased to have spent the past two years talking with youth, teachers, and parents as we evaluated our Christian Education Program for Children and Youth. As our Youth spoke, we listened and will continue to do so! We recognize that families are committed to developing their children’s Christian foundation while trying to balance every other force on their lives. Our youth are particularly interested in finding that Christian application to their everyday lives…not just their Sunday lives.

We have developed programming which is grounded in Scripture and our Baptismal Covenant while teaching through a variety of media…Movies, Music, and Experience. We focus on Education, Service, Worship, AND Fellowship at all levels of our Children and Youth Programs.

And remember…we all resounded with “WE WILL” when our children were baptized and confirmed…don’t let the opportunity fall by the wayside as we continue supporting our children and youth along the way!
