Market Day – October 16
The days of open-air markets are certainly a part of Americana. Many of us can remember them from our youth. Often, they were situated in the churchyard and open to the entire community. On October 16, All Saints Church will revive this tradition from the past by hosting a Market Day for our local community.
Everyone will be invited to rent space in the back, west, parking lot to set up their wares, be they the product of some cottage industry or merely the accumulation of things that crowd our attics. Plenty of fun and fellowship is planned around the market with a moon-bounce and other activities for the kids. Mark your calendars and prepare for an old fashioned Market Day.
There is no telling what treasures you may find.
